Hi guys, it's fantastic how many of you love the Site, the Blog and the Community.

I have received a lot of e-mails for personalized Fashion tips, and I love getting to know you and helping you with your dilemmas. However, I also believe that many share the same problems and concern, so it would be great to post them as questions on the forum, where anyone can access the answers.

So feel free to ask away...I am here often!

Plus you can add your spin on the fashion world. Just be nice and don't offend anyone! Please!

Be Fabulous,

Ella

Hy (again) everyone,

The e-mails keep pouring in, and I hope I can get to them, as fast as possible!

There is a few common topics that seem quite popular (I will write an article on the blog about them...I promise!). A lot of you have a big concern about the look of your skin, from enlarged pores to bumpy annoying little pores. It's so frustrating wanting a smooth looking makeup and having to deal with skin that just won't cooperate.

Here is my suggestions:

1. Get a good Skin Care System for your skin type (a cleanser, toner and moisturizer), get a sensitive skin system if you react to perfumes or other chemicals. Make sure all the pieces are from the same company, as they will be all designed to work together. Get a lotion instead of a cream if your skin is oily (lotions are lighter). Everyone, no matter the age or skin type should use a moisurizer with SPF (15 or more), to block those nasty sun rays! Use your skin care system twice a day (even if you are not removing makeup!), and only use scrubs and masks not more than 2 times a week...or you will remove too many layers of the skin and damage it even further.

2. Get a "good" foundation's PRIMER (yes, like paint, your skin needs to be primed at times..Ha ha). By "good" I mean don't cheapen out! it will last a long time so it's a great investment! Apply it after the moisturizer, and let it dry for a few minutes. Your skin will feel like silk...I swear! as the primers are silicon based- make sure you don't react to them- the product will get in the creases filling them and reducing the appearance of any lines or small bumps. P.S. a little goes a long way..more is not better in this case!

3. Buy Mineral Powder Foundation...it's the next best thing for your skin since SPF! It looks very natural with excellent coverage, lasts all day and it is actually good for your skin..with natural ingredients. Don't be cheap with this one either...it lasts a long time as well!

Disclaimer: this is some general advice for people with regular skin (no major problems or allergies), in the latter case, always consult a dermatologist before applying the products I suggested.  I am not a doctor or a skin specialist, However, I have been a beauty consultant for over 10 years for "Artistry" skin care and cosmetics and "NAO" cosmetics.
